When I felt the heat from the healer’s hands I was impressed, when she went on to offer healing to several more people without tiring herself I was absolutely fascinated. For the first time In my life I was absolutely sure there was 'something else out there' I was so excited I booked straight onto the course....over the years I have developed more knowledge about what 'it' is and how we can all connect  to what it offers. I wanted to be able to offer healing to people around me and went on to be initiated into Tera Mai Reiki & Seichem.  As I explored the Reiki energy I was channeling I began to realise that it was working on me on many levels, helping to heal my mind (emotional), body (physical) and spirit (a part of us we seem to lose in our material world). It worked when I put my hands on myself or on other people.....I could feel it flowing... I was so excited and must admit that 14 years later I am still excited and honoured to chosen to take this path! In order to help others around me offer the same gift to themselves and those in pain in their lives I became a ‘Master’ or teacher of these healing disciplines and am now able to offer attunements to others. It has been a wonderful privilege and pleasure to have such an opportunity.  I find that every course I run we all learn from each other and I meet such wonderful and different people from all over the world. Like many people going to study this subject, I was drawn there by a wish to understand more about others, and a need to understand myself and my reactions to my past experiences. As I learnt about emotional healing I gained more understanding of other people’s and my own reactions to stress, loss and trauma in their lives. By allowing my clients to explore their past I began to help them to release anger and resentment. Giving them more control over their own lives and helping them to begin to look forward, towards a brighter future. I also realised that I am linked to those around me and yet separate and can now support others on their journey without the need to rescue them. I have now trained as an NLP Master Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) - this has a lovely philosophy of acceptance of others and self behind it and allows me to use tools for emotional healing that are really powerful. My first love however will always be the Reiki, because with it's spiritual element it can work miracles in people's lives. I am writing a book at the moment - called Rhymes Of Life - I want to share what I have discovered about the pieces of the puzzle of the truth of life that we all working towards re-discovering. I also run self development courses to allow people to gather to learn and grow together both emotionally and spiritually.
